Job Summary

Operation Manager Work directly under the supervision of the Head of Operation &Project; of M&R Solutions of Afghanistan, the Operation Manager is tasked to support the overall Operation management, including the Operation SOP's as well as monitoring the Operation system in accordance with the M&R Solutions Guideline.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities
Analyzing the current system of production or provision to check its effectiveness.
Tracking and measuring staff performance.
Planning and controlling change.
Managing quality assurance programmers.
Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.
Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout.
Training and supervising new employees.
Make sure an organization is running with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients.
Monitor the supply and prepare requisition request for all project vehicles maintenance materials in consultation with Operations Manager, ensuring the proper organization, storage and inventory of purchases.
Monitor the supply and prepare requisition requests for all office expendable clerical supplies; in coordination with Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, ensuring the adequate supply, proper organization, storage and inventory of purchases.
Responsible for project training and meeting space reservations and coordination of all required logistical support in consultation with project technical and administrative staff.
Arrange and coordinate staff lodging and accommodation for in-country travel.
Become thoroughly familiar with detailed systems and procedures for the procurement of goods and services;
Prepare purchase orders and all other documents associated with procurement actions;
Ensure that all local project procurement complies with Futures Group home office Standard Operations Procedures.
Assist Operations projects team leaders in providing on-going training for the application of procurement procedures to project technical and administrative staff and collaborating implementing partners.
Provide all required training and support to supervised staff to enhance efficiency and productivity in the performance of their day-to-day activities.
Check regularly all office equipment and appliances for immediate maintenance and repair of project vehicles

Ability to travel throughout Kabul and Afghanistan as may be required.
Good team worker, capable of working effectively in a very challenging environment Preferably within an international or local Company’s. Fluency in Dari or Pashto with strong communications skills with fluency in English language required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Master/Bachelor in Economics, Commerce Business Administration, International Trade, or related field, Master holders will be proffered.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience including 5 years of expert experience in operation.
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include PowerPoint, and excel.
Excellent spoken and written English; strong interpersonal skills required
